Bicycle
- alloy frame Rotor Arsen 26" with steel fork in order to safe on weight no suspension, also to gain more reliability
- freewheels Mavic EX721 silver, LX-hub hope the rims will proof as reliable as expected
- 1.9 no-name tyres up to 4 bars / 60 PSI
- parts mixed Deore/LX/XT raliator, hubs, shifting, Ibottom bracket-LX, brakes XT, gears Deore
- Tubus racks Cargo/Logo superb light and very stable - I stick with it
- cycle computer CILCLOmaster CM414 ALTI the old one... features temperature and altimeter
pump Topeak MasterBlaster DX the oump never disappointed me - now replaced by a new one
bike tool Topeak Alien the tool has done a lot, it is still ok though
bike panniers Ortlieb light the old ones... hope they'll do it once more
4 Seasons waterproof pack-sack with carrying system I won't take my backpack this time
tent Wechsel Pathfinder Zero-G/Travel-Line with Footprint 1-person-tent from Berlin, windstable and light, no experiences yet
sleepingbag ME Firewalker artificial filling slightly heavier than down, hope it'll last longer
Evazote Iso mat very old, still good
GoreTex-Jacket 3 layers TheNorthFace the old one, needed some repairs
rain pants JackWolfskin also the old one, lets see how much longer it will last

camping pots Relags + new alloy pot a new pot was necessary
water-filter MSR Sweetwater also this one has to do it again

compass Recta DS 56 Turbo 20 very useful utility, works on both hemispheres
GPS-receiver eTrex Garmin this time with lots of waypoints for South America (see Downloads)

mobile Siemens MC60 Tri-Band, Vodafone-CallYa-SIM pre-paid no monthly fee, tri-band for America
Mini-headlamp no-name, LED similar Petzl Tikka
trekking-pants OCK, two zips each side dries quickly, can be zipped off above and beyond the knee
Nikon SLR camera, zoom-lenses: 20-35/3.5-4.5; 35-70/2.8; 70-210/4-5.6, tripod lots of equipment, lots of weight, hope it produces reasonable results
