Ich bekam mein Myanmar-Visum in Bangkok. Die Beantragung ist einfach, jedoch kann man sich im Land noch immer nicht frei bewegen. Bei der Einreise muessen 200 US$ in die (wertlose) Waehrung der Regierung getauscht werden. So kommt die Militaerdiktatur zu Devisen und man kann das Geld nur in staatlichen Hotels und fuer Inlandfluege ausgeben.
I got my Myanmar visa in Bangkok. It's easy to apply for but still though many areas in the country are restricted for foreigners. You have to change 200 US$ on entry into the (useless) currency of the military government. That's how they get foreign exchange plus you can spend your money in national hotels and on domestic flights only.
